We had such great success as a result of our collaboration with Guru Cycles and our #guru12 creations that we decided to do something unique with the iBike brand.  We were approached by JD of Bassi Bikes with the idea of creating a high end frame set and negotiated a small run of 36 frames.  The experience has given us multiple insights into the bicycle manufacturing process including what it takes to create a brand.  The process of creating a legendary brand of frames, such as Cinelli, takes years of passionate dedication and numerous well planned collaborations.  I admire Cinelli and what they have done and take my hat off to them.  They are the standard behind the fixed gear movement.

Pour ce qui est du design du frame, on parle ici d'angles identiques au Cinelli Mash, mais avec des tubes plus profilés. On avait reçu un prototype, que nous avons testé pendant quelques jours. On a fait des demandes de modifications et raffinements, et une fois le frame approuvé, on a développé le design graphique, que j'ai supervisé. Je voulais un truc simple et sobre, avec accents sur détails dans les haubans et fourche. On a donc joué avec la thématique du drink de la victoire, le Saskatchewan Hooker. Ça donne un frame aux lignes agressives et sombres, avec une touche d'humour à l'intérieur de la fourche et des haubans. Le frame est très léger, rigide et est idéal en conditions de crit et courses urbaines. Bottom bracket surélevé pour mieux pencher sans accrocher les pédales, top tub 'hard cock', headset de super qualité, tout est au rendez-vous pour avoir une monture finement calibrée pour tout type de course.
