State Bicycle : Undefeated 2015

Je me souviens encore de Josh Tyrrell durant le Red Bull : Minidrome No.2 de Toronto en septembre 2012 avec son frame de couleur baby blue et de la difficulté qu'il avait à placer sa coiffure afro dans son casque. Il n'a pas gagné mais il n'a jamais arrêté de pédaler. C'est au Red Hook Crit de Barcelone No.2 que les choses ont commencé à devenir plus sérieuses pour lui. Ses très bonnes performances aux qualifications et durant la finale lui ont ouvert les portes de l'élite des Critériums FXD internationaux. Il a eu plusieurs propositions, mais c'est avec State Bicycle qu'il a choisi de collaborer. Aujourd'hui il nous présente sa machine de Crit.

This is my crit machine. More so, my do everything machine. I was fortunate enough to be selected to ride on Team State Bicycle in October of 2014 right before heading to Milan to race the RHC Milan no.5, Mehdi overnight shipped me the bike, I got it built up took it for a spin and then boxed it back up to go catch my flight. 

Since then this bike has seen it all, every fixed gear race, every ride, every grocery trip, and its going strong. For me its the perfect bike. I like the oversized tubing, it really stands out in the peloton. The geometry works out well for me in all the tight cornering we tend to see in a lot of the races. I find the bike to be stiff and responsive, and the wheels are great! Essor is a State Bicycle sister company, the manufacturer is based in the USA and quality was definitely not skipped here. They stay true, and accelerate wonderfully. Get up to speed and your coasting. Figuratively of course. If I had to put it in simple terms, Im stoked on the Undefeated paired up with the Essor wheelset.
